Founded by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), Women in Construction Week provides an opportunity to bring women togethere within the industry. The organization began in 1953 and celebrated their first Women in Construction Week in 1960. Since it's inception, the stigma surrounding women in the industry has decreased while the pay for women has increased!
To celebrate the week, and to encourage more particpation by women into the construction field, NAWIC is hosting a webinar "Empowering Women in Construction" on March 7. All details and regristration link can be found here!
