February is American Heart month where the American Heart Association encourages us to take control of our cardiovascular health. One of the most powerful ways to take control is to understand cardiovascular disease, stroke and hypertension, and how to keep your heart healthy. As the saying goes, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” With education we are able to best understand prevention.
One of the leading factors of hypertension, which can lead to heart attacks if not managed properly, is stress.
